Motorcyclist dies after crash on A282 near Dartford Crossing

A motorcyclist has died after a crash near a motorway.
The incident happened on the A282 near Dartford Crossing yesterday afternoon.
The accident, which prompted lane closures in both directions, happened on the clockwise carriageway.
Emergency services were called at 2.30pm to the collision which involved a single motorcycle.
Today, it has been confirmed a man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
There were two hour delays on the M25 while emergency services dealt with the incident. The air ambulance was also called.
The road reopened shortly before midnight.
