Motorcyclist taken to hospital following hit-and-run in Lower road, Swanley

A motorcyclist has been left with serious injuries after a hit-and-run.
The bike collided with a car, which then failed to stop and drove away from the crash scene in Swanley.
The incident happened between 5.30am and 5.55am today (Tuesday) in Lower Road, close to the junction for Goss Hill.
Officers attended along with ambulance and fire crews.
A motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to a London hospital with multiple injuries.
Efforts to trace the driver and establish the full circumstances are ongoing.
The vehicle, believed to be a black Vauxhall Astra or Zafira, was being driven from the direction of Hextable and will have sustained significant front end damage.
Motorists who use this area are urged to check dashcams for any footage which may assist the investigation.
Local residents, who have yet to speak to the police, are also asked to check doorbell cameras or other private security systems.
