Huge queues have formed on a motorway after the roof of a van fell onto the road.
Traffic was stopped on the M25 clockwise near the Dartford bridge after the vehicle component was seen on its side at around 4.25pm, between junction 2 (Darenth) and junction 3 (M20).
Fire crews attended with two engines and closed the road to move the van part to the hard shoulder and were finished by 5pm.
Severe delays are still being reported however with one lane still closed for recovery work.
The congestion has been reported to be as far back as junction 28 (A12 Brook Street Roundabout).
There are also said to be long queues forming in the opposite direction.
More as we get it.
