All lanes have reopened on a major motorway in the county after a multi-vehicle collision.
The M25 clockwise carriageway near Dartford, and A282 south between J1A and J2 for the Darenth Interchange was shut after an accident involving two lorries, two cars and a car transporter.
Kent Police was called at 12.31pm to the A282 near to junction 1B following reports of a collision involving several vehicles. Ambulance crews are also at the scene.
A police spokesman added: "Two people are reported to have suffered injuries."
All lanes have now reopened on the M25 but there are current delays of an hour with just less than seven miles of congestion.
Traffic was being diverted via a distributor road next to the main carriageway.
Congestion is almost back to J29 for Romford and is affecting traffic around Lakeside and the Dartford Crossing.
