An event featuring extravagant light displays, fusion music and around-the-world food and drink will take place this weekend.
Cohesion Plus’ Magical Winter Festival is returning to Ebbsfleet for another year this Saturday in Platinum Jubilee Park.
The arts organisation will host the celebration with partners Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, Arts Council England and the KKB Group.
Artistic director of Cohesion Plus, Gurvinder Sandher said: “The aim of the festival is to bring some magic, light and cheer to a very dark and cold time of year.
“We have some artistic acts to dazzle the crowds, beautiful light installations to marvel at, as well as some really great food to sample.”
The showcase will begin at 4pm and run until 8pm.
Street acts, fire eaters and dancers will perform, as well as a New Orleans-style band and Dhol drummers.
Hot drinks and an assortment of international cuisine, including Indian and Caribbean dishes, burgers, pizzas, and cakes will be available to enjoy with the entertainment.
“We hope that everyone comes down on the day to enjoy what promises to be a wonderful evening,” said Gurvinder.
Jo Cowan from Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, said: ‘The Magical Winter Festival is another fantastic event as part of our wider programme of activities for Ebbsfleet residents and local community members to enjoy.
“We’re excited to see the local response to this event and are looking forward to continuing our work to deliver some fantastic events across Ebbsfleet”.
