Dartford: Police close one lane of M25 entry slip at junction 1b after people spotted on the road

Police closed a slip road on the M25 after a person was spotted on the carriageway.
Lane one of two was blocked by police on the southbound exit at junction 1b for the A296 Princes Road in Dartford.
It happened at around 5.30pm and traffic is not expected to return to normal until 8pm.
Officers are at the scene, directing motorists.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to a report that a pedestrian was seen in the carriageway on the A282, Dartford at about 5pm on Thursday 20 April 2017.
"Traffic was stopped on the southbound slip road near to the Princes Road Interchange while the man was taken to a safe place."
All lanes reopened around 6.30pm.
