One person was given oxygen after a tanker caught fire on the M25 this morning.
The motorway was temporarily shut in both directions between Junction 2 for the Darenth Interchange and Junction 3 for Swanley as fire crews dealt with the incident.
Traffic is now flowing freely after emergency services cleared the site.
Due to inhaling smoke, one person was given oxygen at the scene.
Fire crews were alerted just before 7.30am.
They calmed the flames and the motorway was reopened before 8am.
