Person taken to hospital after two-car crash on the A2 near Bean Interchange

A person has been taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars on the A2.
The London-bound carriageway was blocked with traffic queuing up towards the Bean Interchange near Dartford.
An ambulance and traffic officers attended the scene at around 8.20am and all traffic was temporarily held..
One person was assessed and treated before being taken to Darent Valley Hospital for further checks.
Traffic has since been released on the busy A-road and vehicles have moved to lane one (of two) of the entry slip road.
