Pizza chain Domino's has been left red faced for the second time this month after a delivery driver was caught with a shopping trolley full of a cheap chicken wings.
Shopper Caroline Foskett, 31, spotted him stocking up at Aldi in Dartford, just a few weeks after another Domino's employee was seen buying bags of £1 potato wedges at Asda in Greenhithe.
Not only was the man spotted by teacher Ms Foskett piling his trolley high with chicken wings and strips, but he had also picked up a fair few packs of coleslaw.
Domino's charge £4.99 for a portion of chicken wings and £1.99 for a pot of coleslaw.
A spokesman for the chain said the man pictured was on his own personal shopping trip, as evidenced by the presence of bottles of water, which aren't on the Domino's menu.
"Our franchisees are not authorised to buy food items from outside sources," they said.
"Investigations suggest this is a colleague carrying out a personal grocery shop, reinforced by the fact we don’t offer many items in the trolley."
Earlier this month a Domino's spokesman said the chain did not advocate employees buying menu items from outside sources, even if supply was running low.
