Police called due to concerns for a woman's safety on a footbridge over the A282 in Temple Hill, Dartford

Police were called to a footbridge over a busy motorway this afternoon due to concerns for a woman's safety.
Officers attended the scene over the A282 in the Temple Hill area of Dartford at 12.45pm.
The woman has been detained under the Mental Health Act.
Reports on social media suggested that a woman had been attacked, but police have denied that such an incident occurred.
