Two police officers were injured after their patrol car was allegedly rammed during a chase.
The Road Policing Unit (RPU) confirmed the incident via Twitter, describing how officers "want to go home in one piece at the end of the night".
Two officers were injured, with one taken to hospital for treatment.
Police spokesman Lucy Hurdle said: "Officers on patrol became suspicious of a car that was being driven erratically on Heath Lane, Dartford at approximately 10.15pm.
"The car failed to stop when requested and made contact with the patrol car.
"A pursuit was authorised which came to an end on Maiden Lane, Dartford where the car again made contact with the patrol car.
"A 29-year-old man from Plumstead was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, dangerous driving and grievous bodily harm."
The RPU later updated followers on Twitter to say the officer taken to hospital has now been discharged with "minor injuries".
