Police have freed two children from a car on the M20 this afternoon after a man refused to leave the vehicle.
Earlier today officers stopped a car 'travelling at speed' on the London-bound slip road of the A20 at Critalls Corner, Foots Cray.
The incident unfolded just after midday as police discovered a boy and a girl in the car and closed the motorway.
All lanes were closed as Met Police officers negotiated with the man in the car, who refused to leave the driver's seat.
The incident caused long delays on the A20 Westbound between the M25 Swanley Interchange and the junction with the A223 Edgington Way.
The road has now re-opened.
