Teen Kane Lee from Tunbridge Wells charged with assault and other offences following an incident in Swanley where an officer was injured

A teenager has been charged with five offences following an incident where an officer was injured.
Shortly after 3.30pm on Thursday, June 23, Kent Police received a report that an officer had been injured in Lullingstone Avenue, Swanley.
It is believed his legs became trapped between a van and a car, and he was taken to hospital with severe bruising, but no life-threatening injuries.

Kane Lee, 18, of The Beeches in Tunbridge Wells, has been charged with assault, possession of cannabis, obstructing/resisting a constable in the execution of duty, driving a motor vehicle without a licence and driving a motor vehicle without third party insurance.
He has been remanded in custody pending a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, July 22
A police spokesman added: "A 38-year-old woman from Tunbridge Wells and a 27-year-old man from Sheerness have been bailed, pending further inquiries, until Friday, August 19."
