The long-awaited opening date of a new Primark at a Bluewater shopping centre has been announced.
The retail giant will be opening it's latest shop on Wednesday, March 13.
The discount fashion chain said the new location has created more than 400 jobs.
KentOnline exclusively revealed plans for the company to move to the Greenhithe location in 2017.
In January last year, the low-cost fashion chain leased a 60,000 sq ft space between House of Fraser and All Saints, with the remaining 14,000 sq ft space being used for stock and office functions.
Primark’s move to Bluewater was prompted by former tenant the Early Learning Centre’s decision to close its store and open a concession within Mothercare, which was already located at the shopping centre.
The company already has seven stores in Kent, which includes Chatham, Maidstone, Canterbury, Thanet and Folkestone.
It was first thought that the introduction of the Bluewater store would spell the end for nearby stores in Gravesend and Dartford, but Primark said there was no plans to shut those retailers.
