Motorists have been told to expect delays on the M25 this morning after two incidents.
The exit slip road from the M25 onto the A2 was closed clockwise at junction 2 the Darenth Interchange due to a broken down vehicle.
It has caused big delays on the clockwise approach, with queues of about 45 minutes back over the QEII bridge to junction 31 for Lakeside at its worst.
The road has since reopened but queues of about 25 minutes remain.
In addition, two lanes of four were closed between junction 1b for the A296 at Dartford and junction 2 due to a lorry shedding its load, reported to be glass.
Queues stretched back six miles.
All lanes have been reopened with delays on the clockwise approach starting to clear.
