Dartford Heath cordoned off after reports woman raped near woodlands on Thursday

A rape investigation has been launched and woodlands taped off after a woman was attacked on Thursday.

Officers cordoned off part of Dartford Heath at around lunch time yesterday as part of their investigation.

They received reports a woman was pushed to the ground and raped in the early hours of Thursday in woodland near Rochester Way, Dartford.

Pictures show patrol cars and uniformed officers at the scene in Rochester Way late last night.

The police tape is shown running along a long stretch of path next to the wooded area.
