It comes as the fourth instalment of a superheroes collection that was created in collaboration with Marvel's fine art published Choice Fine Art.

The prints will be unveiled at Castle Fine Art galleries at Bluewater, as well as galleries in Canterbury and Tunbridge Wells and on their website from 6pm tonight.

The eight super-sized pieces of art pay homage to the original large-scale art inked by artists from the comic book industry.

One of the pieces in the collection, a battle between the X-Men and Magneto, marks the first time Castle Fine Art has released a Marvel graphic in landscape form.

Marvel legend Stan Lee died in November last year, aged 95, and helped make the brand into one of the world's most popular.

Peter Gilby, area sales manager for Castle Fine Art, said: “With Marvel having dominated the top 10 comic book sales chart in August 2019, it’s no surprise that there is a growing appetite for our ‘Superheroes’ collection, which has proven to be one of our most popular series.

“We are expecting these new graphics to sell out in record time and would invite fans and collectors keen to get their hands on a piece of comic history to visit the gallery sooner rather than later.”

Each of the five signed limited-edition prints are available are priced at £3,950.
