Police renew appeal after a man was stabbed during a fight between a group of men in Dartford town centre

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a stabbing in a busy town centre.
Violence broke out between a group of men in Market Street, Dartford, near to the junction with Lowfield Street and moving into the pedestrian area towards the One Bell Corner, on the evening of Wednesday, April 19.
Officers were called at 7.44pm and a man in his 20s was taken to a London hospital with a shoulder injury consistent with a stab wound, but he has since been discharged.
Another man in his 20s also needed treatment for head injuries.
A 26-year-old man from Dartford was arrested in connection with the incident and he has been released, pending further enquiries.
Investigating officer PC Mel Ling said: "We would like to thank those who have already come forward with information about the incident.
"It reportedly took place in a busy town centre and there were a lot of people nearby, so we would ask anyone who saw the incident, and have not yet spoken to an officer, to call Kent Police on 01474 366149 quoting XY/17880/17."
