Crossways Boulevard in Dartford shut westbound after Storm Doris knocks roof off of a building

A road was shut for more than eight hours after Storm Doris knocked a section of roof off a building.
Police and fire crews were called to Crossways Boulevard in Dartford at around 11.50am and the road was closed heading towards the M25.
The building affected is near Galleon Boulevard off the westbound carriageway.
Officers remained at the scene with the safety of motorists and pedestrians in mind.
The road eventually reopened at around 8pm.
