Delays on approach to Dartford Crossing
12:30, 02 August 2017
Drivers approaching the Dartford Crossing faced delays for the second time earlier today.
A crash occurred on the A282, the non-motorway section of the M25 that goes over and under the River Thames, on the Kent side, approaching the tunnel.
One lane of the anti-clockwise carriageway was blocked between junctions 2 for the A2 and 1A for the A206 towards Dartford and Greenhithe, according to Kent Highways.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene but the road has now reopened.
An ambulance service spokesman said at least two patients were treated before being taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital in Farnborough Common, near Orpington.
The crash happened just hours after the tunnel reopened following an earlier collision.
