More new homes on the way for Kent's garden city
06:08, 19 September 2020
New homes at Ebbsfleet Green, part of Ebbsfleet Garden City, are being launched today.
The 133 properties at Regent Village represent the next phase of the 900-home community.
Built by Redrow, they include three and four-bedroom houses and townhouses. They will be followed by a collection of apartments at a later stage.
To date 442 homes have been sold at the new community. As well as houses, the garden city includes shops, schools, a pub and hotel.
In the coming years, a community centre and commercial space will be added.
More than 40% of the development is designated as parkland or open spaces, including play areas, allotments and sports pitches.
The homes in Regent Village have been designed to include several carbon-reducing measures, including electric vehicle charging points.
There is only one remaining property for sale from Redrow’s previous phase of homes, Regent Square.
Jo Wiley, area sales manager at Redrow South East, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching a new phase of Regent Collection homes.
“We expect this new phase will sell quickly, so we encourage interested buyers to visit the development soon to experience the homes and wider community first-hand.”
