Ho, Ho, Ho! While towns and villages have been turning on their festive lights, one family is getting in on the act too.
The Older family home lit up on Saturday evening to raise money for two good causes.
Even Santa popped along to The Light Up A Life display at their house in Panters, Hextable.
About 60 people went along to see the Christmas lights switch on and enjoy refreshments, while there were also Christmas trinkets on sale.
It is the second year the Olders have put up an impressive illuminated display and opened their garden to visitors, raising money for Help for Heroes and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Kelly Older said: “It went really well and on the first night we raised about £160 which is much better than last year when we raised about £200 during the whole time.
“We chose Help for Heroes as it’s a more than worthy cause, and Cystic Fibrosis Trust, because my daughter, Danielle, 10, has the condition.
“We had about 60 people and my garden was full. It was so full I couldn’t get out of my back door for the switch on.
“I’d like to thank everyone who donated and would like to remind people they can still come and see the lights, which will be on every day from 5pm to 9pm until New Year’s Eve.
