Two grandparents were serenaded on their driveway as part of their 60th anniversary celebrations.
Ann and Bob Avery, of Heath View Avenue, Crayford, near Dartford, met in Wimbledon when they were only 18.
One year later, the pair were engaged and then married on July 23, 1960.
Now, both 80, and having lived in the same home for 58 years, the pair celebrated their anniversary with family, including their son, David, and daughter, Samantha.
The family enjoyed a barbecue before Ann and Bob were surprised with a performance on their driveway from singer Calli Malpas.
Ann said: "Our daughter sorted it out for us and we had immediate family come round and then in the evening we had no idea, but they got a singer to come on the drive.
"They also got quite a few of our other friends and people from church."
Bob added: "It was a good time. It was really nice and a lovely surprise.
"Given the circumstances we're under, where we've been in lockdown for 13 weeks, it makes it a bit more special. We never expected it."
The pair have four grandchildren and are expecting their first great-grandchild next month.
When asked the secret to a long and happy marriage, Ann said: "Respect, love and forgiveness."
While Bob quipped: "And a good sense of humour."
