Suspected drink driver charged after BMW X5 spotted speeding on the M25 near Dartford

A suspected drink driver has been charged following a police pursuit on the M25.
Patrols spotted a BMW X5 speeding and driving erratically on the motorway near Dartford.
The incident happened shortly before 1am on Monday.
Police say a patrol signalled for the vehicle to stop and it appeared to slow before speeding up and away from the officers.
It was later stopped on Bob Dunn Way, near the Crossing and the driver was detained.
Patrick Obama, 38, of Lindon Road, Bognor Regis, has since been charged with speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol.
He is due before Medway Magistrates’ Court on April 24.
