Traffic on the A2 is getting back to normal after earlier crashes affected the rush hour.
Delays affected the A2 at Falconwood, west of Dartford.
One lane of the eastbound-carriageway of the A2, near the junction with the B255 east of Dartford, was blocked after a multiple vehicle accident.
The emergency services were called to a five vehicle collision on the A2 coastbound carriageway, near Bean, at 7.05am.
Kent Police spokesman James Walker, said: "The South East Coast Ambulance Service was also called and at present no serious injuries have been reported.
"The road remains open however a live lane is currently obstructed by two of the vehicles. Recovery for these has been arranged."
The accidents caused long tailbacks for motorists and drivers are being urged avoid the area if possible.
