A teenage girl has been arrested following a police pursuit that saw other vehicles crashed into and a traffic island trampled.
Footage on social media showed the aftermath of the chase near the A1 Carriages car dealership in Crayford Road, near Dartford.
The incident happened at around 5.45pm on Thursday (August 15).
At least four cars appeared to be damaged and traffic island markers knocked over.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Officers on patrol requested a vehicle to stop in Crayford Road, Dartford, after it was suspected to be driving with a false number plate.
“The driver failed to stop when requested to do so and police pursued the vehicle at a safe distance.”
“A short time later the vehicle was seen driving dangerously on the wrong side of the road and came to a stop after colliding with several other vehicles.”
A 17-year-old girl was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving without a licence or insurance and for possession with intent to supply cannabis.
She has been bailed until November 15 while enquiries continue.
