Swanscombe man arrested by British Transport Police after assault at Greenhithe station

British Transport Police arrested a teenager following reports of an assault.
Officers were called to Greenhithe station at 6pm last night.
An 18-year-old man from Swanscombe was arrested on suspicion of assault and possession with intent to supply drugs.
He was later bailed pending further inquiries.
No details about the alleged attack victim have been released.
It follows a number of incidents at the station in the last few months including reports of a 16-year-old who was robbed by a gang for her AirPods and cash.
