Swanley: Teenager arrested after reports of an attempted robbery at Asda supermarket

A teenage boy has been charged with attempting to rob Asda supermarket in Swanley.
It is said the 17-year-old entered the store in London Road and demanded money before leaving empty-handed.
The alleged raid happened at around 3.55pm on Saturday, September 24.
Following an appeal for information the teenager from the Orpington area was arrested on October 1.
He has since been charged with attempted robbery, as well as a further three separate offences of theft.
The suspect has been bailed and will appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on November 30.
