Teenager charged with knife crime after disturbance in Quay Lane, Greenhithe

A teenage boy has been charged with making threats with a knife after a disturbance in a quiet residential street.
Police were called at around 5pm on Friday, September 6, to a disturbance in Quay Lane, Greenhithe, where a person was reported to have been seen with a weapon.
Officers attended and a teenage boy was arrested nearby. A knife was seized.
The suspect was taken into custody and later charged with threats to commit criminal damage, making threats with a knife, common assault and possessing cannabis.
He was remanded to a hearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court today (September 9).
