Thousands of people flocked to Dartford this weekend to enjoy the borough's new summer festival.
The Big Day Out celebrated the "Best of British", featuring none other than singer Tony Christie, on Saturday at Central Park.
Live music, a Celebration of Steam, Kids Zones and roaming entertainment were all warmly received by families enjoying the return of a big summer event to the park after two years of lockdown restrictions.
There was also a fairground, a full size Spitfire, and even a Great British tea tent serving up free cuppas all day.
The community-fete style gathering stands in place of the popular Dartford Festival which ran for more than 80 years before being put on ice due to the pandemic.
This year's event, which was run in conjunction with Dartford council, had a "Best of British" theme to coincide with her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.
On top of free entry, the local authority offered free ride vouchers, plus money off food and drink, to help families enjoy everything the event had to offer.
Leader of the council Jeremy Kite MBE said: "It was wonderful to welcome crowds back to Central Park for a big summer celebration.
"Things may have been a little different compared to previous years, but we had some great feedback from visitors who enjoyed everything the day had to offer.
"Setting up a new event is always a challenge, but it was great to see the community come together and enjoy a great day out in the sunshine.
"We have more great events to come over the summer, including the last of our Open Air Theatre and bandstand performances. Plus we will be releasing dates for the outdoor cinema very soon.
"I would like to thank all of our partners for their brilliant contribution, including CohesionPlus and CelebTime."
