Tony Burman hopes Blue Square Bet South manager-of-the-month award does not prove a hindrance

Dartford's Tony Burman has praised his coaching team and players for helping him win the Blue Square Bet South manager-of-the-month award.
But the Darts boss (pictured) hopes it will not prove a hindrance ahead of one of their biggest weeks of the season.
A 100% record, including five league wins and an FA Trophy success against Boston, saw Burman win the award for the first time this season.
"I am obviously pleased," said Burman. "But I hope it doesn’t prove the poisoned chalice it has been to some managers in the past.
"My coaching staff and players deserve it for the good run we had throughout what was a good month."
It was a double success for the Darts as skipper Elliot Bradbrook won the player award after scoring six times from midfield in January.
"Elliot thoroughly deserves his award," said Burman. "Scoring 13 league goals is a fantastic achievement, and I think he is probably the best midfielder in the league."
Burman added: "It’s a massive game at the start of an important week for the club with Woking to come the following week. Sutton had a good run in the FA Cup earlier this season and are a good side."
