Traffic released on clockwise carriageway of M25 between Dartford and Swanley

Traffic was stopped on the M25 following a serious crash between a car and a motorbike.
The clockwise carriageway between junction 2 for Dartford and junction 3 for Swanley was closed following the incident.
Police officers and paramedics were called to the scene at around 3.15pm today (May 10).
The biker was taken to hospital with leg and arm injuries.
National Highways officers were also in attendance assisting with traffic management.
Part of the carriageway was closed but all lanes reopened and traffic was released at around 4.40pm.

However, there are still long queues with around eight miles of congestion.
There were around 90 minutes of delays but the traffic has since cleared.
