A group of travellers has moved on swiftly after pitching in a shopping centre car park.
Around seven caravans were seen outside Marks & Spencer in Bluewater this morning.
Police cars were also spotted at the scene.
A police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called at 12.30am on Monday, June 26 to a report of a traveller incursion at Bluewater.
“Officers liaised with the landowner and they served them a notice to leave the area.
“At around 8.15am Kent Police issued a Section 61 notice, under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act, which also required the encampment to leave the area.
“They were gone by 11am.”
A Bluewater spokesman has confirmed the travellers have now left the site.
