Tributes after death of Dartford councillor Nancy Wightman of Watling Street, Dartford

Tributes have been paid to Dartford councillor Nancy Wightman who has died.
A posting on the council's website said: "It is with sadness and regret that the council has learnt of the death of Councillor Nancy Wightman.
"Our thoughts are with Cllr Wightman’s family at this difficult time."
Mrs Wightman was first elected to Dartford council in May 2003 as a Conservative member for Brent Ward.
She was re-elected in 2007 and 2011.
Cllr Wightman, of Watling Street, was a member of the Development Control Board, Licensing Committee, Policy Overview and Appointments Panel.
Councillor Wightman was also on the Friends of Hesketh Park liaison group.
