Two people have been arrested after police chased down a stolen car.
A chase was sparked after officers spotted the Land Rover in Dartford earlier today.
Shortly after one of Kent Police's road patrol unit spotted the offending vehicle which they determined was on cloned number plates – a technique commonly used to disguise stolen cars.
The car was then seen again by officers from the Metropolitan Police's roads and transport unit.
When the vehicle failed to stop, the police initiated a chase into Thamesmead, South East London.
After at least seven miles of driving, the driver reportedly left the road before running out of room.
They then left the car and tried to flee on foot, but were chased down by officers.
Both the driver and a passenger were arrested, and the vehicle was confirmed to be stolen.
