Vandals have smashed their way into a scout hall causing more than £10,000 in damage.
Toilets, kitchen equipment, meeting rooms and priceless photographs were all ruined at Longfield and Hartley scout headquarters after the mindless break-in.
Yobs smashed their way through the building’s front door, threw cans of paint all over the hall, and even unplugged a freezer containing food for the scouts’ camping trips.
Acting group scout leader, Stuart Knowles, estimated it would cost at least £10,000 to repair the hall, in Larkwell Lane, Hartley.
He said: "This is very disappointing, but the one silver lining is that it has come at the end of the scouting year and we will be back in business by September."
