A chauffeur has captured the amazing moment a cat waited at a pedestrian crossing... then calmly walked across the road as traffic waited.

Justin Scrutton, from Stone, caught the footage on his dashboard camera after taking his car to be valeted.

The 44-year-old said as he slowed down to approach the pedestrian crossing in St Vincent's Road, Dartford, he spotted the black and white cat waiting to cross.
