A FORMER social worker from Dartford, accused of murdering his wife, is to face a retrial on April 28.
Mark Aldrich, 39, has had his case transferred from Maidstone Crown Court to Lewes Crown Court to avoid a long delay.
The father of triplets has admitted strangling his wife, Dilys, at their home in Herald Walk, Dartford, but denies murder.
A jury on December 12 failed to reach a verdict and Judge Andrew Patience, QC, ordered a retrial.
Mr Aldrich was not present when the judge decided to move the case from Maidstone. He has been remanded in custody.
