Witnesses sought after shop worker threatened in knifepoint robbery at Costcutter in Dartford

Shop staff were threatened by a robber wielding a knife - before he fled with a cash till containing around £300.

Shocked workers at Costcutter in Fleetdale Parade, Dartford were challenged by the man wielding a long knife at around 8.45pm on Wednesday, January 22.

He then grabbed the till from the counter and carried it out of the store, where he met another offender before fleeing towards Fleet Avenue.

It's believed the till contained around £300.

The main offender is described as a slim to medium-built white man, aged around 20.

He is thought to have had a local accent and was wearing a black hooded jacket, large black goggles or glasses, gloves, a scarf, grey trousers and white and blue trainers.

The second man, waiting by the door, was said to be another young white man in dark clothing.

There were no other people in the shop at the time of the offence.
