A woman aged 40 was cut free by fire crews after crash on the A2 near Dartford Heath

A woman was taken to hospital with spinal injuries after a crash involving two cars on the A2.
The crash was on the A2 coastbound between the Black Prince turn-off and Dartford Heath at around 7pm yesterday.
The woman, thought to be around 40, had to be cut free from one of the vehicles.
A spokesman from Dartford Fire Station said: "We were called to reports a car had left the motorway.
"The woman was OK but we took her out of the car on a stretcher and she was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure."
