Lee Cook scored a hat-trick as Barnet swept Dartford aside at The Hive on Bank Holiday Monday.

The home side had already gone close before John Akinde put them in front four minutes before half-time, lashing the ball past goalkeeper Jason Brown following a corner.

Tom Bradbrook forced a good save from Graham Stack at the other end but Cook, who came on at half-time, took just three minutes to double Barnet's lead.

Akinde provided the assist and Cook drilled the ball into the bottom corner.

Dartford missed another good chance when Stack denied Elliot Bradbrook from close-range.

Moments later, it was 3-0, Cook collecting Luisma Villa's pass and beating Brown into the same corner.

Cook completed his treble from the penalty spot in the 84th minute after fellow substitute Gambin was brought down in the box.

The Darts, still looking for their first win in the Vanarama Conference, host AFC Telford on Saturday.
