Dartford are set to lose defender Tom Bonner to a four-game ban – but boss Tony Burman is confident they can cope.
Burman doesn’t see the need to head to the transfer market because he feels the cover is already in place.
Ronnie Vint, who broke his wrist early on during the season, is one of those ready and waiting to fill the void.
Burman said: “We will miss Tom but Ronnie Vint has missed most of the season injured and he has been waiting patiently for his chance.
“We also have Tom Gardiner who can step in and so we have got cover in that area. Danny Harris could play right-back. There are plenty of options for us.”
Bonner was dismissed for the second time this season at Weston-super-Mare on Saturday.
Burman said: “There was a tangle of bodies, their centre- half went to ground and we felt he put his hands around Tom’s feet, who then tripped over.
“The linesman felt Tom then kicked out while on the floor. The highlights aren’t conclusive but there wasn’t a stamp.”
But Burman added: “We brought him here because of his experience and because he is a leader. Leaders don’t get tangled up and into those situations."
Darts host Poole Town on Saturday, a side sitting level on points with them in National League South.
Burman said: “We’ve got a game in hand over them and it will be a big one. We’ve got ourselves into the top five and now we want to stay there."
