In-form striker Tom Bradbrook says Dartford’s confidence is at a season-high going into the Boxing Day clash with Braintree.

Bradbrook scored a fantastic goal on Saturday to help the Darts record their best result of the Conference campaign so far – a 3-1 win away to Wrexham. That followed his strike against Solihull Moors in the FA Trophy seven days earlier.

Tony Burman’s side are now looking to record a third straight win for the first time this season and Bradbrook believes they can do it.

He said: "Before games, we’ve been quite down. Sometimes we feel unlucky or hard done-by and when you get in a rut like that, the hardest thing is to get up for a game.

"But winning in the FA Trophy and again on Saturday opens up a massive opportunity for us.

"We go into the Boxing Day game more confident than we’ve been all season.

"As a forward, you get confidence from scoring goals. I got one last week and one on Saturday so I’m a lot more confident now.

"I can’t wait for the next game."
