Dartford manager Tony Burman saw his team's luck change on Tuesday night.

The Darts trailed 1-0 to Dover at Princes Park and their Kent rivals had enough chances to extend that lead during the second half.

But goals from Harry Crawford and Tom Bradbrook turned the game on its head before Dartford goalkeeper Jason Brown saved a Ricky Miller penalty in stoppage-time

Burman said: "I’m happy because we’ve had a little bit of luck. We’ve had a lot of bad fortune in a lot of the games - games we should have won and we got nothing.

"Today I thought we should have got at least a point but we’ve got all three, so I’m pleased."

Luton loanee Miller had given Dover an eighth-minute lead in the Kent derby.

Burman said: "The goal gave them a lift. It’s a deflected free-kick that’s gone in and it’s given them a lift that we didn’t want them to have. When you score a goal, you do get that little bit of a lift.

"They were causing us some problems. We kept the same formation as we had on Saturday (3-5-2). I wanted to have a go at it, but I’m not sure it’s the right thing to do, so we changed back to 4-4-2 for the second half and I think it paid off."
