Dartford boss Tony Burman admits the win over Poole wasn't pretty but very important

Tony Burman admitted Dartford weren't at their best in the 2-1 Vanarama National South victory over fellow play-off contenders Poole Town but says doing the basics right got the result.
Duane Ofori-Acheampong celebrated his 24th birthday the previous day with the first, with the impressive Luke Wanadio adding the second two minutes later.
Poole pulled one back through Luke Roberts four minutes before half-time, and pushed Darts all the way which Burman readily acknowledged.
Burman said: "Poole made it very hard for us, it was a really tough game, they went 2-0 down, but credit to them, they came back and caused us a few problems.
“Second half I don’t think we played the best football ever, but we dug in and we have won the game ugly and got the three points and I will take that all day long.
“We were forced into a way of playing, Poole were a decent side, but we came out on top by doing some basic things and I am not standing here saying we played lovely football and lost.”
Burman was also full of praise for both goalscorers, despite Ofori-Acheampong missing a great chance to get a second late on to make Darts breathe a little easier at the end.
He added: “I brought Duane here telling him he would play regularly and it might do him good - and is in a good place at the moment.
“Duane has had some ups and downs elsewhere away from previous clubs, but he has done ever so well.
“I knew the way he works that the supporters would take to him, and the next thing we have got to do is get him scoring on a regular basis, and I am sure that will come - it is only the thing is missing - but because he is working so hard, the supporters are appreciating that.
“He is at a good age, and there is a lot in him, that's for sure."
“Luke has been left out for a couple of games, but came on and scored as a substitute.
“I brought him back because we were at home, and going forward he is a threat.
“I am confident with him when he has the opportunity like he did today - one-on-one, and fair play to him, he did well.”
Burman added: “It’s a big month for us, and that’s why it was very important to win the game, because it gives us a bit of breathing space, and while we are looking forward to playing Dover in the FA Trophy next week, we know what our priorities are.
“Anything is possible - we have got to get on with our own job, and do our own thing, then come March hope we are in a similar position as now, or above, and if we are I will be delighted.”
