Lee Burns and Harry Crawford could feature for Dartford against Bradford City in the FA Cup second round

Dartford could welcome two key players back from injury for Sunday's FA Cup clash with Bradford.

Right-back Lee Burns and striker Harry Crawford both have a "slim" chance of featuring in the second-round tie at Valley Parade, according to Darts manager Tony Burman.

Burns has missed the last five games with a calf strain, while a groin injury has kept Crawford out of Dartford's last three fixtures in the Vanarama Conference.

Burman said: "I'll have a good look at things but I have to be sensible as well. It's a big game on Sunday but we've got a massive few months ahead of us. We've got to be careful.

"I wouldn't say I know what the side is going to be on Sunday but I've got an idea.

"We had four out on Tuesday, four of our main players. That doesn't help but you've got to get on with it. That's why I have 18 in the squad. But it is difficult."

Centre-back Rory McAuley returns after missing the midweek defeat at Eastleigh through suspension, although injured striker Andy Pugh - Burman's other absentee - is still out.

Dartford are on a run of four straight defeats in the league but cup football takes over for a week.

They follow Sunday's game against Bradford with a Kent Senior Cup tie at Gillingham on Wednesday night before Solihull Moors visit Princes Park in the FA Trophy next Saturday.

"It might help out for a little while," Burman said. "We've got three cup games now and I don't want to be out of any of those competitions. We've got to rally round and get everyone back on track.

"Over the next few days we've got to forget about the league and enjoy this experience (playing at Bradford).

"I'll give the players as much encouragement as I can to make sure they enjoy the day."
