Chance for fans to be on forum
00:00, 02 October 2008
Charlton are looking for three season-ticket holders to stand for election and represent fellow supporters on a new fans' forum created to discuss issues with senior club officials.
They will meet with board members, including plc chairman Derek Chappell and chief executive Steve Waggott, at least three times a season. The proposed forum replaces the role of the elected supporters' director, with present imcumbent Ben Hayes stepping down during the next month at the end of an extended two-year term.
Supporters keen to join the forum must submit their applications, which includes answering three questions designed to assess his or her suitability, by October 11. Election to the forum is open to all over-18 season-ticket holders.
