Kudus Oyenuga proved a handful for Dartford joint-boss Jamie Coyle last season and the striker is ready to excite the fans at Princes Park.

Oyenuga joined Darts from their promotion rivals Chelmsford and took on Coyle when his new manager was playing for Welling.

The striker has looked sharp in pre-season so far and his pace will offer the Darts a different attacking dimension.

He said: "There was a time I was going to leave Chelmsford and Jamie wanted to sign me but it didn't materialise and I ended up staying.

"As soon as the season finished and he got the (Dartford) job we spoke and thought it would be good to work with each other.

"I'm very direct. When I get the ball, I'm going to run with it and try to score goals and excite. That's my game, really.

"It's a strong league this year and we're a new group of players so it's about gelling and finishing as high as possible."

Oyenuga, who spent seven years in the Tottenham youth system, is no stranger to change.

He's played in Finland and Qatar and had several spells in the Scottish Premiership and Championship.

Oyenuga said: "It's been good to travel and see different styles of football and meet different people.

"My agent was good mates with the gaffer at Dundee United but it didn't work out. I was in and out of the team and had a few loan spells.

"I went to League 2 with Hartlepool and back to Scotland again, Greenock Morton, which was really good.

"I moved back a year-and-a-half ago for family reasons, went to Chelmsford last season and now Dartford.

"I've enjoyed it so far. The boys have been brilliant."
