Jamie Coyle has left his role as Welling manager after just one year at the helm.
Coyle was appointed Wings boss last summer but revealed on Tuesday night that he has left the club.
The Wings finished the season 10th in National League South - eight points outside the play-off places.
Coyle said on Twitter: "It has been a pleasure managing Welling United this season.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the players, management team and the fans that have made this season a really enjoyable one and wish the club all the success in the future."
A brief statement on Welling's website late on Tuesday night confirmed the news.
"Welling United FC and Jamie Coyle have agreed for Jamie to part company as manager," the club said.
"The club wishes to place on record its gratitude to Jamie for his efforts this past season especially for helping us to provide a stable base for the club to move forward from and he leaves his post with our best wishes for the future.
"Jamie will remain involved as Head of Education within our new academy."
