17:05, 03 December 2016

Two goals in two minutes earn Darts hard earned win against Vanarama National South play-off rivals Poole at chilly Princes Park.

Duane Ofori-Acheampong and Luke Wanadio hit the first half goals, before Luke Parker pulled one back for the Dorset visitors four minutes before the interval,

Poole continued to have the majority of the play in the second half, but Ofori-Acheampong missed a great chance of a third 13 minutes from time to make the game safe.

Dartford scored twice in two minutes after Poole had made a bright start.

Parker fired over and then Deren Ibrahim did well to block Luke Burbridge's effort.

Darts went in front after 20 minutes, Acheampong heading in Lee Noble's free-kick.

Wanadio then got the second, punishing a Poole slip, before running on to beat Poole keeper Nick Hutchings with a low finish.

Ibrahim saved from Parker at his near post, before making two more blocks from the same player.

Poole pulled one back four minutes before half-time - and it had been coming - Parker rising unchallenged to head home.

Skipper Jamie Whisken then put another effort wide as the visitors ended the half strongly.

Lee Noble had a shot blocked in the first minute after the restart, but Poole continued to press forward with Ibrahim forced to push away a low effort from midfielder Steve Devlin.

Bradbook then saw his effort turned away for a corner by Poole keeper Nick Hutchings

Wanadio continued to catch the eye - and had already linked well once with Acheampong, before tricking his way to the by-line and setting up the big striker only to blast the ball over the bar from about six yards.
